Got back to campus around four after driving through a fucking ridiculous thunderstorm, the windshield wipers couldn’t keep up with the rain and the white dashed lines that separate lanes were damn near invisible. On a funnier note, all the cars on the highway started blinking their emergency lights and I just kept looking at flashing orange lights for a good 15 minutes. Probably the longest, scariest, most exhilarating 15 minutes of my life. I wish I took a video or pictures or something…

But got to my dorm with no problems. Campus is pretty much a ghost town. I expected to get to campus today not really feeling the most excited to actually be back, and surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) I didn’t let myself down.  I still can’t believe I’m back. Things will get happier once my friends trickle back in. The first couple of weeks is the hardest definitely, but it’s going to become even harder to get over compared to freshmen year since this was probably the best summers I’ve ever had. 

 

tries to tell you something in some ungodly hour of some random day when you neither have class nor any need to wake up in a ear shattering yell to tell you something extremely unimportant that you will not remember to do. 

Then you get yelled at later in the day.
